About the programme
Our parent company, Recognized Ltd, headquartered in Manchester, UK, partners with leading garment manufacturers across five countries to develop AI-powered automation solutions for the textile and apparel industry. We combine machine vision, artificial intelligence, mechatronics and industrial automation to create high-speed systems that make precise decisions in under one second.
Role objective
Assemble industrial automation machines and prototypes, integrate mechanical subsystems, and carry out functional testing, calibration and validation to ensure reliable machine operation in factory environments.
What you'll do
- Assemble machine frames, aluminium extrusion structures, brackets, enclosures, conveyors, gantries, fixtures and mechanical modules
- Read mechanical drawings, assembly drawings, CAD models and bills of materials
- Perform alignment, levelling, mounting, fastening and adjustment of machine components
- Integrate fabric inspection machines, material-handling systems, camera mounts, lighting enclosures and other mechanical assemblies
- Support mechanical integration of motors, gearboxes, bearings, linear guides, belt drives and motion assemblies
- Conduct mechanical function checks, repeatability tests, alignment checks and cycle testing
- Identify vibration, backlash, friction, misalignment and mechanical interference issues, and assist with corrective actions
- Support machine commissioning, performance validation and factory acceptance testing
- Use workshop tools, measuring instruments and 3D-printed fixtures safely
- Maintain assembly records, inspection checklists, test reports and engineering documentation

- A practical mindset, curiosity and willingness to learn, with the ability to work on-site in Coimbatore
Nice to have (not mandatory)
Programme and progression
- Trainee stage: first 3 months (hourly stipend)
- Intern stage: continues until degree/diploma completion (hourly stipend)
- Possible full-time offer after graduation, conditional on performance, business needs and completion of the degree or diploma
- Designed for third-year and final-year degree and diploma students (18+ by start date)
- Hours are planned around the college timetable; exam leave and college paperwork support provided
- Occasional late or weekend work for installations or trials, with advance agreement; weekend days are compensated with weekday leave
Mentorship and learning
You'll receive guided training, a mentor from day one, and regular one-to-one progress reviews. The work involves real machine builds, integration, testing and customer trials — not only classroom exercises. Strong performers may receive letters of recommendation for jobs or higher studies.
How to apply
Email your resume to contact@flowgrad.com. Include your year of study, branch, college, and a short note about a project you have built. Photos, videos or a GitHub link are welcome. The selection process is a short call, a practical assessment (for example a mechanical assembly task, wiring a sensor or a small technical task), and an offer for successful candidates.
